Straight Line Beveling

De Gorter, Inc. represents Schiatti Angelo and their 7, 9 and 10 spindle straight line beveling machines. These machines enjoy the reputation of the Schiatti family of glass processing machinery. That is, that they are strong machines, well built for the average glass shop and are very simple to operate. Each model is capable of beveling at an adjustable angle from 3° up to 45°. The 7 spindle can handle glass from 3 mm through 20 mm thick, while the 9 and 10 spindle models go up to 25 mm thick. The maximum bevel width for these models is 45 mm. These specifications make the Schiatti models a perfect fit into any glass shop, looking for an economical and reliable beveling machine.

Shape Beveling

De Gorter, Inc is also able to supply the Industry with a manual shape edger/beveller. This single head machine is quite versatile and is capable of providing a cerium polish as an option.

Wave Beveling

Perhaps you have heard of the new trend sweeping the beveling market, the “wave” bevel? With a patented system, Samtech is able to oscillate the diamond spindles, varying the wave length and speed. This allows you to create a truly unique bevel, one never seen before. It can produce multiple waves, for a truly breathtaking sight. In addition, the WAVE 2000 is also capable of straight beveling. For less than what most people charge for a straight line beveling machine, you could be producing both straight and wave bevels with the WAVE 2000.
